Hello, thank you for your interest in Manheim Township Youth Cheerleading. We are so excited
to have your child a part of our program. I wanted to include some information and
expectations regarding the 2024 season. Cheerleading is a team sport that involves teamwork,
dedication, and sportsmanship. Please make sure you can fully commit before registering your
child.

Ages Breakdown
D Team 1st-3rd grade
C Team 4th-5th grade
B Team 6th-7th grade

Practice:
Practice starts Tuesday, August 5 th, 2025, and will continue to be Tuesdays, Wednesdays &
Thursdays from 6-8 pm held at the Manheim Township Athletic Complex on Weaver Road. As
we understand vacations are planned for ahead of time. Please understand how important it is
that your child attends all practices.
Practice will move to Tuesdays,  and Thursdays once school starts. We will then move our practice to the High School to continue
practicing as the weather gets cooler and darker earlier.

Mandatory Items to Purchase:
Below are expected costs outside of registration. Please note you will only have to purchase ALL
items if you are new to the program. All athletes must have all items! More information will be
provided on ordering after registration is complete.

Long Sleeve Crop  $37

Game Day:
Games will be held on Saturdays, Sundays, and sometimes both. Games are Mandatory. Your
child will receive an arrival time per team. They are expected to stay the entire time of the
game.

Competition:
The cheerleaders will spend practices learning cheers, chants, and stunts as well as a 2 min and
30-second routine that they will then perform and halftimes and competitions. Therefore, it is
important to attend all practices. We hope to attend 2-3 competitions outside of the
competition we host. COMPETITIONS ARE MANDATORY!!! We have too many incidents when
athletes do not show up to the competitions with no notice to coaches. Dates TBD
